Allie Falcon
Allie Falcon started as a freelance graphic designer, but after dabbling with the art of tooling leather, she realized how much she loved turning a crazy idea into a physical product.
Over the years her brand evolved into what it is today— wearable art. Allie finds inspiration in the American Southwest and the people that make it special. From the plants to the architecture and textiles, Allie loves to put her own unique spin on the beauty of the desert.
When Allie creates, she starts by sketching on paper and then perfecting it on the computer. When the artwork is finished, Allie sources materials from all over the world and turns her art into a myriad of products- from women’s clothing to home decor and gifts.
Allie says, “If I’m passionate about something, I ask myself, ‘how can I make an amazing Allie Falcon version of this product?’” As the Allie Falcon brand continues to grow, Allie continues to push the limits of her creativity both in design and production to keep bringing customers the unique style and beauty they’ve come to expect from her.
What does being an entreprenuer mean to you?
The freedom and power you have as an entrepreneur is both the best and the hardest part of the gig, but the most beautiful part, for me, is that there are no limits. If I want to create something completely off the wall, there's no chain of command that is going to reject my idea. I create my own opportunities and I am responsible for my own growth. That's not always the case at corporate jobs. Plus, I get to actually watch my little girl grow up and she gets to see me work hard and be passionate about my career. Even if she has zero interest in taking over whatever I've built one day, she will hopefully have those same values to accomplish whatever sets her soul on fire.
After all the ups and downs that entrepreneurship has thrown my way, I still wouldn't change a second of it. Do you have to be a smidge crazy to take it all on? 100%, but crazy people have way more fun.
